Deborah Johnson, President and CEO, Infinity I/O

Ms. Johnson joined Infinity I/O in August 2001 as Chief Operating Officer after 20 years at Hewlett-Packard where she served in various senior management and marketing positions in the areas of networking, software, computers and services. In March 2002 Ms. Johnson was appointed President and CEO of Infinity I/O.

Before joining Infinity I/O, Ms. Johnson served as Director of E-Services for North America at HP Consulting where she led the development of a new line of service, established partnerships and alliances to support this service and evaluated acquisition opportunities.  Prior to this position, Ms. Johnson led global services planning for HP Consulting and was responsible for overall program management for service development.

Before that assignment, Ms. Johnson was a Marketing Manager in the Enterprise Computing Group where she led the development of a multi-product channel strategy for the worldwide launch of CRM and security software.   Before that, Ms. Johnson was a Program Manager on a major business process reengineering effort for HP’s business critical order fulfillment function responsible for implementing major process and infrastructure changes in product configuration, pricing systems and forecasting.   

Before that, Ms. Johnson held a number of marketing management and strategic planning positions in the Networking Group of HP.  As Marketing Manager, Ms. Johnson had responsibility for marketing and development of new technology and product strategy.  There she also assisted in the acquisition and launch of a new business based on Fibre Channel.   Prior to that Ms. Johnson led planning efforts in the area of operating systems and networking for HP Unix servers and workstations.

Ms. Johnson began her marketing and management career in HP with product marketing and technical product support positions in HP’s applications software business, and in joining HP, she worked in Finance and Accounting for a range of business units in the Instrument Group.

Ms. Johnson holds a MA in Communication and an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a BA in Communication and Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
